This baby blanket is a far cry from the run-of-the-mill pastel variety! It features vibrant two-tone turquoise and lime green in a daisy print on one side and a bubble type polka dot print on the reverse side. I make my baby blankets extra large and double layered. They are a great size for swaddling or wrapping your baby "burrito-style". And, they are very durable. I have friends and family who are using my blankets on their 3rd and 4th children! This blanket is approximately 40" square, so plenty big enough, and oh-so-much-bigger than the typical store-bought receiving blanket which is only large enough for a newborn. It's big enough to wrap your baby well, as many babies sleep much better when swaddled. It's also large enough to use for "floor time". The blankets work well keeping baby warm once buckled into their carseat, too. Blanket is made of all cotton brushed flannel fabrics, sewn together around the edges to make it double-layered. Then I have embroidered around groups of the daisies throughout the blanket to connect the two layers, making it more durable in the laundry in particular. Blankets are completely machine washable and dryable with all of baby's other items. However, one can expect to see some fading of colors if washed in a sanitizing cycle.
